Aloha, my name is Chris. I am the Student Services Rehabilitation Counselor at the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Laguna Hills. I started at the DOR after graduating from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2003; and I began providing pre-employment transition services after earning my masters from San Diego State University. With a focus on the DOR mission and a quote I memorized from the Braille Institute in Los Angeles, I am able to help all students from 5 high school districts, private and charter schools in South Orange County: "You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man’s independence and initiative.
