Blackboard Learning Management System
The Department of Rehabilitation’s (DOR) Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard, is now available for External Partner use, including committee members, Local Education Agencies (LEAs), Community Resource Partners (CRPs), vendors, volunteers, and more.
Blackboard LMS and Collaborate work best with the following browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
What does this mean for DOR’s External Partners? The LMS represents a giant leap forward, offering:

A virtual one-stop shop where you can enroll in, complete and download completion certificates for all mandatory trainings, such as Ethics and Sexual Harassment Prevention training.

A tool for tracking training records online.

A web-conferencing tool, Blackboard Collaborate, allowing users to share documents/screens from any computer, laptop or mobile device.

Blackboard Collaborate Resources:
Participants are those who are attending Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing sessions. Blackboard Collaborate Participants need not be computer experts; however, some functions do require basic computer skills such as working knowledge of your operating system, ability to navigate between and within applications, or basic text editing. If you need more information on being a participant, check out the resources below.
